[O ESPETÁCULO]
Neste texto, Marie Suel propõe-se a falar sobre os medos, os de uma criança no início de sua vida e, no extremo oposto, os de um velho homem. O encontro tem lugar no quarto da criança, a meio da noite, chamando a atenção para o momento presente e dando especial destaque à cumplicidade que vai sendo construída entre estas duas personagens, a partir de um conjunto de jogos, desvelando-se a alegria por entre os medos da morte, do abandono, do desconhecido ou do fracasso. Joaquim e Marcelo, é assim que vão sendo batizados os medos e, à medida que lhes vão sendo atribuídos nomes, eles desaparecem.

Dando continuidade à parceria iniciada em 2015, o teatromosca e a companhia francesa La Tête Noire, La Compagnie, voltam a colaborar na criação de um espetáculo, desta feita para o público infantil, depois de, em 2018, terem criado, em coprodução, o espetáculo “Kif-Kif”, para maiores de 12 anos. A estas duas companhias, junta-se agora o Teatro Art’Imagem, com quem o teatromosca também tem vindo a colaborar regularmente.

O texto de Marie Suel será publicado na editora moscaMORTA, projeto editorial da responsabilidade do teatromosca, numa edição bilingue, com tradução para português assinada por Margarida Madeira, juntamente com outras peças francófonas, todas inéditas em Portugal: "Eu não Gosto da Minha Irmã" e "Eu Quero Ser a Mais Velha!" do encenador e dramaturgo francês Sébastien Joanniez; e “Na Floresta Desaparecida”, do dramaturgo canadiano Olivier Sylvestre.

À propos du spectacle
Profondément humain et vibrant, Respirer (douze fois) raconte la rencontre en pleine nuit d’un jeune enfant et d’un vieil homme en proie à des peurs qui les dévorent : celle du noir, de l’abandon, de la mort et de la solitude. 
Topos universel, la peur est ici abordée – apprivoisée - par le biais de l’attention à l’instant présent, la respiration, la méditation de pleine conscience, du jeu complice. A travers cette rencontre intergénérationnelle, de multiples questionnements surgissent : C’est quoi ressentir ? C’est quoi penser ? C’est quoi grandir ? C’est quoi vivre ? 
Respirer (douze fois) aborde ces thématiques avec poésie et humour et dessine un univers lumineux, qui tord doucement le cou à la morosité, au repli et à ces monstres qui frappent souvent à notre porte.

Un conte franco-portugais porté par trois compagnies (teatromosca de Sintra, Teatro Art’Imagem de Porto et la Tête Noire – La compagnie), mis en scène par Patrice Douchet sur une proposition de Pedro Alves, directeur du teatromosca. Le spectacle sera créé au festival Muscarium à Sintra en septembre 2023.

​About the performance
In this text, Marie Suel talks about fears, those of a child at the beginning of her life and, at the opposite end, those of an old man. The meeting takes place in the child's room, in the middle of the night, drawing attention to the present moment and giving special emphasis to the complicity that is being built between these two characters, from a set of games, revealing the joy among the fears of death, abandonment, the unknown, or failure. Jocelyne and Marcelle, this is how fears are baptized, and as they are given names, they disappear.
 
Continuing the partnership that began in 2015, teatromosca and the French company La Tête Noire, La Compagnie (Saran, France), collaborate again in creating a performance, this time for children, after, in 2018, having created, in co-production, the show “Kif-Kif”, for children over 12. These two companies are now joined by Teatro Art'Imagem (Maia, Portugal), with whom teatromosca has also been collaborating regularly.
 
Marie Suel's text will be published, in Portuguese, by moscaMORTA, an editorial project by teatromosca, translated by Margarida Madeira, alongside other Francophone plays, all previously unpublished in Portugal: “Eu não Gosto da Minha Irmã” and “Eu Quero Ser a Mais Velha!” by French director and playwright Sébastien Joanniez; and “Na Floresta Desaparecida”, by Canadian playwright Olivier Sylvestre.

Cantora e teclista do grupo de rock Gomm, Marie Suel é professora de literatura e teatro numa escola secundária em Hauts-de-France. Atualmente, encontra-se a trabalhar num novo projeto teatral: "Eles Poderiam Morrer de Amor", reflexão em torno da influência das mães sobre suas próprias filhas em matérias amorosas.
The Author
Singer and keyboardist of the rock group Gomm, Marie Suel is a literature and theater teacher at a secondary school in Hauts-de-France. She is currently working on a new theatrical project: a reflection on the influence of mothers on their own daughters in matters of love.

Patrice Douchet é encenador e diretor artístico do Théâtre de la Tête Noire, companhia que fundou em 1985. Tem dirigido espetáculos, essencialmente, com textos de autores contemporâneos. Grande parte das obras que tem levado à cena inscrevem-se num triângulo que compreende literatura/teatro/cinema, de que são exemplo: «Lettre d’une inconnue» de Stefan Zweig (filme de Max Ophuls); «Le Trio en mi bemol» de Éric Rohmer; «Hiroshima mon amour» de Marguerite Duras (filme de Alain Resnais); «Moderato Cantabile» de Marguerite Duras (filme de Peter Brook). Com «Hiroshima mon amour», inaugurou um ciclo dedicado à obra de Marguerite Duras. De 2000 a 2005, explorou a obra do realizador Ingmar Bergman. Criou ainda espetáculos com textos de Federico Garcia Lorca, Tennessee Williams, Mariette Navarro, entre outros. É membro do comité de especialistas da direção regional de assuntos culturais em França, membro da comissão de Teatro da Fondation.
The director
Patrice Douchet is a theatre and artistic director of the Théâtre de la Tête Noire, a company he founded in 1985. He has directed shows, essentially, with texts by contemporary authors. Most of the works he has staged are part of a triangle that includes literature/theatre/cinema, such as: “Lettre d'une inconnue” by Stefan Zweig (film by Max Ophuls); “Le Trio en mi bemol” by Éric Rohmer; “Hiroshima mon amour” by Marguerite Duras (film by Alain Resnais); “Moderato Cantabile” by Marguerite Duras (film by Peter Brook). With “Hiroshima mon amour”, he opened a cycle dedicated to the work of Marguerite Duras. From 2000 to 2005, he explored the work of director Ingmar Bergman. He also created shows with texts by Federico Garcia Lorca, Tennessee Williams, Mariette Navarro, among others. He is a member of the committee of experts of the regional directorate of cultural affairs in France, and a member of the theatre commission of Fondation.
